How does full colour printing work?

If you need a rapid turnaround or a one-time t-shirt print, then this is the method for you. The process is called DTF and it involves using specialised water-based inks to print onto a film transfer. We then heat-press (on pretty much anything), remove the film and leave behind the soft water-based inks! This method is amazing for full colour CMYK designs and oversized prints.

Print on demand

Print on demand

With full colour printing, we offer a print on demand service that can integrate seamlessly with our print production and fulfilment process.

Benefits. There are lots of them.

Direct to film

Full Colour CMYK Printing

The beauty of using our full colour printing method for clothing, is that you can print anything from a simple one-colour design to a photograph containing every colour under the sun! This means there's complete flexibility and no extra cost depending how many colours you're using.

Direct to film

No Order is too small or too large

Whether you're looking to get 1 or 2 t-shirts printed or you need us to produce in bulk, full colour printing is great for both. With no screen setup charges like with screen printing, this also allows us to print on demand.

Larger print areas available

Larger print areas available

DTF works by printing onto a wide format film roll. This allows us to scale up artwork, achieve large prints and also print multiples of the same artwork at different sizes depending on the garment.

Flexible print locations

Flexible print locations

Once we have your artwork printed onto the film transfer, we then have to heat press the soft water-based inks onto your garment. At this stage we can pretty much apply it in any location.

Quick turnaround

Quick turnaround

With our DTF printing process, we offer an exceptionally fast print-to-finish service. Since this method requires no setup, we can move straight from your print-ready artwork to production. If you provide us with high-quality files, we can often complete your order within 3-5 days, if not sooner! Perfect for those last-minute needs without compromising on quality.

Create & order online

Make your own unique DTF printed t-shirts or hoodies online and get an instant quote. We'll then process your order and deliver to your door with express delivery in as fast as 4 working days.

Perfect for shorter print runs

Dynamic pricing

Dynamic pricing

When you adjust the size of your artwork you will dynamically see cost changes depending on print area. We've also introduced quantity price bracketing, meaning the more you order the lower your price per unit will be.
